Saddam On The Run

I had "Silly Love Songs" running through my head, by Paul McCartney and Wings and started out penning

You'd think that people would have had enough of muni gov bonds.
But I look around me and I see it isn't so.
Some people wanna deal their whole in muni gov bonds.
And what's wrong with that?

But that wasn't going anywhere, so I flipped to "Band on the Run" from 1973. I still don't have a good substitute for "jailer man and sailor sam", so if you think of something let me know. "Saddam on the run" seems to be a fit for "band on the run" because of the pacing of the song.

Saddam On The Run

Stuck inside these four walls, scent inside forever,
Never seeing no one, lice a pain to boot,
Saddam who, Saddam who.
If I ever get out of here,
Thought of giving it all away
To a terrorist charity.
All I need is to find Uday
If I ever get out of here.

Well, his rein imploded with a mighty crash as he fled into the scum,
And the first son said to the second son there I hope you have a gun.
Saddam on the run, Saddam on the run.
And the jailer man and sailor sam were searching every one

For Saddam on the run, Saddam on the run, Saddam on the run, Saddam on the run

Well, the top commander drew a heavy line seeing nowhere else he'd gone,
And a squad was raiding in the pillaged square for the Ba'athists on the run.
Saddam on the run, Saddam on the run.
And the jailer man and sailor sam, were searching every one

For Saddam on the run, Saddam on the run, Saddam on the run, Saddam on the run

Well, the night was falling as the desert world began to settle down.
In the town they’re searching for him every where, but he never will be found.
Saddam on the run, Saddam on the run

But his bodyguard, we leaned on hard
we searched his sewer hole
Oh Saddam on the run, Saddam on the run, Saddam on the run, Saddam on the run

I suppose "Limey man and Uncle Sam" would be a good substitution, actually.
