So Ends a Political Future
My local newpaper revealed an far more effective way to end your political career than by driving a girl off a bridge.
Leslie chief charged with threatening his ex-wife
The headline doesn't do it justice, so let's get to the meat of the issue.
The Leslie County judge-executive is in the Perry County Jail, charged with threatening his ex-wfie and firing at state police officers.
Kenneth R. Witt, 36, was arrested Saturday night along U.S. 421. He is charged with DUI, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment on a police officer and 10 counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
Well, I guess he won't be in the running next time elections roll around. Heck, even James Trafficant couldn't pull himself out of that hole.
It concluded with
Troopers found Witt a short time later driving on U.S. 421 with two fully loaded handguns, one fully loaded shotgun and additional rounds for the shotgun inside the truck, state police said. They also found a .40 caliber semiautomatic handgun in Witt's truck, troopers said.
The case remains under investigation
I'd venture that a large part of the investigation is repeatedly asking him "What the fuck were you thinking?!!!"
